Baker Road improvements
County Road 60 in Minnetonka
Hennepin County will repave Baker Road (County Road 60) and make accessibility improvements between I-494 and Minnetonka Boulevard (County Road 5) in Minnetonka. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2028.
About the project
When this project is complete, Baker Road will be safer and easier to use for everyone, including people who walk, bike, roll, and drive. Improvements include:
- New pavement for a smoother and safer drive
- School crossing enhancements at Melody Lane to make crossing the road safer
- New signals at Minnetonka Boulevard (County Road 5)
- Updates to traffic signals at Excelsior Boulevard (County Road 3)
