Townline Road culvert replacement

We are replacing an aging Purgatory Creek culvert under Townline Road (County Road 62) along the border of Eden Prairie and Minnetonka.

The existing culvert has reached the end of its service life. Replacing it will improve drainage and help to prevent erosion.

Construction schedule

September 9 through fall

Crews will work along the south side of Townline Road (County Road 62), just east of County Road 101, between Chatham Way/Scenic Heights Drive and Ellerdale Lane.

Driving

Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane.

Westbound lanes are expected to remain open.

Walking and rolling

A section of the multi-use trail on the south side of Townline Road (County Road 62) will be temporarily closed during construction. A signed detour route will be provided to safely guide people to the trail on the north side of the road using the nearest signalized crossings: Chatham Way/Scenic Heights Drive on the west, and Woodland Road on the east.
